Charles Square
(Czech: Karlovo náměstí)
Charles Square is the largest historical square in Prague (8 hectares). It was established by Charles VI in 1348 in connection with the foundation of Prague's New Town.
The oldest buildings on the square is the New Town Hall, dating back to the time of Charles IV. In the park are seven sculptures and a baroque fountain.
