Slavonic island is the only one island on the Vltava River with significant landscaping. Its dominant is neo-Renaissance Žofín Palace, which is a traditional venue for balls and concerts.

There are several places to rent rowboats or pedal boats, a small train for children, park and a well-loved children playground.
