New Town Hall

(Czech: Novoměstská radnice)

#43 of 162 things to do in Prague

Construction of the New Town Hall started shortly after the founding of New Town by Charles IV in 1348.

Over the centuries, it has been witness to many historic events, such as the first Prague Defenestration in 1419, which marked the beginning of the Hussite movement.
