Top 37 of 162 things to do in Prague
The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord was built from 1928 to 1932 by famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik, and evokes Noah's Ark.
The feature of this church is the enormous glass clock with a 7.6 m diameter dial on the 42 m high flat tower that spans the entire width of the facade.
The church is the most significant Czech religious building of the 20th century, and was created as the number two church in the Prague neighbourhood of Královské Vinohrady.
An interesting feature in the Post-Modern church is that there is no pulpit.
