Celetná Street

Celetná (Zeltnergasse) is a street in the Old Town, Prague, connecting the Old Town Square with the Powder Gate. It is one of the oldest streets in Prague and is part of the Royal Route.
Celetná is a former Prague trade route. The street is named after bread that was baked in the area during the Middle Ages. It became a part of the Royal Route in the 14th century. The coronation parade would travel down Celetná.
