Prague's Best Places


The City of Prague Museum is housed in a neo-Renaissance building from 1896–1898 and it was opened to the public in 1900. The exhibition presents the history of the Prague territory from prehistory to 1784.

A very special museum exhibit is the Langweil model of Prague (1826–1834). It is a unique depiction of the appearance of the Old TownLesser Town and Prague Castle at the turn of the 20th century.
